Factory Operations & Production Management
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and maintenance of documents:
- Must prepare documents for Production Department.
- Must prepare and maintain Logbook, SOP of Production department.
- Preparation of Commercial Batches:
- Responsible for the production of commercial Batches under the guidance of Department Lead and with adherence to BMR/BPR.
- Must perform regular IPQC as per the BMR/BPR.
- Must crosscheck the workflow as per BMR/BPR.
- Cross check of the dispensed materials labelling and quantity.
- Must take accountability of the cleanliness of Production department.
- Must adhere and crosscheck the adherence to SOPs.
- Must be responsible on the HR management as per the workload under the guidance of the Department Lead.
- Must be responsible for the smooth run of all the Machines and utilities.
- Maintenance of working environment:
- Must follow the 5S rule during trial formulation of batches.
- Must maintain the work place discipline.
- Must have basic knowledge about first aid and action taken during emergency.
- Must take accountability for cleanliness in the working areas.
- Must inform the immediate senior if any malfunction is observed.
- Must be responsible for adherence to safety rules in Production department.
- Must adhere to GMP rules.
- Report to the Production Lead about all equipment and stationeries required.
- Report to the Production Officer about all the equipment repairs required.
- Preparation and maintenance of records:
- Must record the daily activity in a record file and also have to take accountability for the daily activity of junior staff members.
- Accountable/ responsible for the completion of the BMR/BPR.
- Must maintain the labelling of every Batch.
- Must take the responsibility for the maintenance of every log book in Production department.
- Must take the responsibility to maintain the calibration record of every instrument in Production department.
Job Specification:
Professional Competencies:
- Minimum Bachelor in pharmacy.
- Details oriented.
- Solid computer skills on Microsoft Offices.
